Project

Today I am going to talk about a recent project that I’m starting. 

I usually work on my own projects, but this time I am working with my boyfriend Nicolás.  

He is a musician, a folk singer. He makes little concerts in many different bars in Santiago. 

I always help him with his graphic content, the posters and the photography. 

Now he is starting to work in his fist disc, so the work that I must do is his songbook that will come with the disc (and I also have to create the disc sleeve but I am more excited for the songbook).

We haven’t figured it out how we will make it or how will it look like but the fist thing he must do is the pass me the lyrics of the songs and then I should start thinking how i’ll do it.

I have a few ideas tho, maybe it will be like a fanzine, or maybe like a pop-up songbook. 

I think is a little bit difficult, because I want to capture exactly what he wants and I want it to look great.

I don’t know how long it will take me to do it, but Nico is just starting to produce his disc, so he doesn’t even have the official list of songs that he wants to publish so I have a lot of time to make everything, but I should start having ideas from now on.
